We Reccomend: Great fresh seafood with an oceanfront view at High Tide at Snack Jacks, 2805 South Hwy A1A, Flagler Beach – about a 10-15 minute drive but well worth it! JT's Seafood Shack, 5224 N. Oceanshore Boulevard (A1A), Palm Coast (in the Hammock about a mile from the condo), Tel: (386) 446-4337. The Turtle Shack, 2123 N. Ocean Shore Boulevard, Flagler Beach, is on the right about halfway to High Tides and has excellent hamburgers and grouper fingers. Very casual and relaxed dining for lunch or dinner. Our new favorite place to eat is European Village located next to the Toll Bridge. Cross back over the bridge and turn left at the light and follow around to the entrance on the left. Our favorite spots there are Barbara Jean’s, Tel: (386) 447-8722 and Mezzaluna Pizzeria, Tel: (386) 445-1004. Barbara Jean’s has excellent crab cakes and homestyle dinners. Mezzaluna’s Pizza can’t be beat – price or taste – plus they offer a full selection of Italian favorites. You can also walk there! It is approximately 2 ¼ miles from our condo on nicely paved paths.

St. Augustine is a short 22 mile drive north on A1A. It is the nation's oldest permanently occupied European settlement, having been founded by the Spanish in 1565. The heart of the city is its downtown Plaza de la Consitucion with most of the historic buildings located within a block or two of the Plaza, to the north and to the south. The Castillo de San Marcos, built of coquina by the Spanish in 1672, anchors the city's north end of the bay front. The Bridge of Lions, built in 1927, links the downtown with Davis Shores, a residential community dating back to the 1920s and St. Augustine Beach.

Kennedy Space Center is just an hour south and is highly recommended as well. The tour is amazing and there is even an eagle’s nest on the property which is visible from the tour bus. Fun for the whole family! http://kennedyspacecenter.com/ Please let us know if you need any other information.
